There's something about the time that immediately follows a show wrapping that's special, and difficult, and noteworthy. Maybe it is because the fans are grappling with the series being over, or that they'll have to turn to graphic novels or the occasional TV movie for more on their favorite characters.
"Battlestar Galactica" is in that moment right now, having bid goodbye just a few weeks ago. But it isn't truly a goodbye -- "Caprica," an earlier story in the "Battlestar" universe, will be back on television next year. And the cast and creators are still eager to talk all things BSG. In fact, executive producer Ron Moore, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, and a bunch of the actors from "Caprica" (including Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales) are gathering together to muse on both science-fiction properties. "Caprica" will also screen.
For BSGers, and people looking forward to the new series -- and we're going to take a wild guess and say those groups might be one and the same -- this is definitely a big, starry, questions-getting-answered kind of night. "Battlestar Galactica" and "Caprica" Night at the PaleyFest '09, Monday, April 20, 7PM. $45-$60 general. Cinerama Dome, ArcLight Hollywood, 6360 W. Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles
