A 200-acre wildfire near the Cajon Pass broke out Sunday afternoon, one of three significant brush fires over the weekend in Southern California.
The Tower fire was burning just off Cleghorn Road, east of the 15 Freeway north of Devore, according to Cal Fire. Cal Fire was assisting the San Bernardino National Fire with the fire fight.
The fire was 20 percent contained as of midnight and was progressing in a northward direction, according to the San Bernardino National Forest twitter account. By Monday evening, containment was at 60 percent.
No structures were being threatened by the blaze.
The Tower fire was one of several blazes burning across the Inland Empire. The Jameson fire and the Opera fire also charred several acres.
