One person died in a crash on the 57 Freeway in Diamond Bar Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Another person was trapped and two others were injured in the crash, which occurred north of Diamond Bar Boulevard at 12:26 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash, fire officials said. Patients were taken to a local hospital, at least one in critical condition.
Two lanes of the northbound freeway were blocked, according to the California Highway Patrol.
