A body was found Saturday morning on a freeway onramp in downtown Los Angeles.
The discovery on the Eighth Street onramp to the northbound 110 Freeway was reported to authorities at 8:26 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Monica Posada.
A SigAlert was issued at about 9:45 a.m. closing that portion of the freeway for approximately four hours.
A representative from the coroner's office has been called out to the scene, Posada said.
