Two fires burning in the Cajon Pass between San Bernardino and Victorville were 100 percent contained Sunday night, authorities said.
The U.S. Forest Service announced full containment of the blaze about 7:45 p.m.
The fires, which temporarily shut down stretches of the northbound 15 Freeway and Highway 138 for hours, started Saturday about 5:30 p.m. just south of Cleghorn Road, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
The lanes reopened hours later, authorities said.
Some 425 firefighters battled the 110-acre blaze, officials said.
Two businesses in Phelan were evacuated during the blaze -- a McDonald’s restaurant and a Chevron gas station, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
