Intense flames ripped through a commercial building in Orange early Sunday morning but no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The fire was reported just before 1 a.m. in the 800 block of North Batavia St., according to the Orange Fire Department.
A fourth-alarm response was requested in assisting with fighting the flames.
Firefighters saved one of the two businesses in the 10,000-square-foot building. The other business, an environmental research lab, suffered major damage.
There were no known injuries.
Firefighters declared a knockdown just before 4 a.m.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
