One person was killed Friday morning at Los Angeles International Airport in an accident involving a cargo truck.
Authorities confirmed a man in his 50s -- identified as the operator of the truck -- died after he was run over by the vehicle on an airport service road. Details regarding the victim's identity were not immediately available.

The victim fell out of the truck and was run over, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. The operator likely suffered a medical problem or lost control of the vehicle, according to airport officials.
The vehicle came to a stop near LAFD Station 80, located at LAX. The victim died at the scene.
Flight operations were not affected, airport officials said.
