Police on Tuesday were investigating a crash that killed one man and hurt another after a pickup truck broadsided another car.
The two drivers collided just after 1 a.m. near Brookhurst Street and McFadden Avenue in Westminster when a Nissan pickup truck T-boned a Honda sedan, said Westminster Police Sgt. Carpenter.
Orange County Fire crews worked to extricate the driver of the Honda from his car, and he died while en route to an area hospital, police said.
Video from the scene showed the Honda smashed up against a light pole.
The pickup truck driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and is under investigation, police said.
