A South Gate restaurant storage building was damaged after a fire with flames coming through the roof broke out early Sunday morning.
Fire officials believe the fire in the Rincon Taurino restaurant property began in the attic around 3:15 a.m. Smoke and flames could be seen through the roof of the single-story building, but the fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but do not think it's suspicious. No injuries have been reported.
The building formerly housed a restaurant, but is now used to store items.
