Firefighters extinguished a multiple-vehicle blaze inside a Monrovia parking lot of an apartment complex Saturday morning.
The blaze was reported around 8:35 a.m. in the 800 block of West Duarte Road, according to a dispatcher with the Monrovia Fire Department.
Six vehicles in total caught fire in what firefighters were calling an accident. Officials said the fire was started by an electrical problem with one of the vehicles.
Evacuations for some of the units were ordered as firefighters tried to gain control of the blaze.
No injuries were reported in the fire as of 8:30 a.m.
