The Los Angeles police department held a news conference Tuesday afternoon at Dodger stadium to update a high profile crime case that left a San Francisco Giants fan clinging to life.
On Tuesday, the LAPD announced the reward in the assault of Bryan Stow has been bumped to $200,000. Stow was attacked by two men wearing Dodger gear following the Opening Day game in LA on March 31. He has been in a coma ever since.
Police also said they are now looking for a third suspect in the assault. Police said a woman was seen driving the car that the two suspects jumped into following the attack. She was wearing a white Dodgers jersey with the name of Andre Ethier and the number 16 on the back.
No suspects have been arrested in the incident although police say they have received hundreds of tips.
Just yesterday Stow was transferred from the USC Medical Center to San Francisco General Hospital. He remains in critical condition. His new doctors say they will update his progress Wednesday morning.
Security at Dodger Stadium will be beefed up on Wednesday and Thursday nights as the Dodgers play the San Francisco Giants in a two-game series, according to NBC LA.
Extra LAPD officers will patrol the concourses and the parking lots. This marks the first time the Giants will return to Los Angeles since the attack.
