Detectives arrested a Los Angeles middle school administrator on suspicion of trying to meet a 15-year-old former student for sex, police said.
Robert Nagai, 48, was arrested Friday and released Saturday on $75,000 bail, according to booking records. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 28.
Nagai was an assistant principal for Hale Middle School in Woodland Hills (map) until 2011, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District. Since then, he has been working at the district's Educational Service Center.
The district notified parents at the middle school, though Los Angeles Police Department officials said they did not suspect there were other victims.
Anyone with information about this case or other potential victims may contact Detective Avila at the LAPD's Topanga Area Station at 818-756-3375.
