A man was killed early Saturday morning after a vehicle he was traveling in crashed and sheared a fire hydrant in La Habra, police said.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of E. La Habra Boulevard and McPherson Street, according to La Habra Police Department.
Officers arrived and found the crashed vehicle. A man was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the La Habra Police Department.
The Orange County Coroner's office identified the victim as 20-year-old Miguel Martinez Jr. of La Habra.
Two additional men were also injured. Their conditions were unknown, according to the La Habra Police Department.
The intersection of E. La Habra Boulevard and McPherson Street were closed for several hours.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
