Investigators were searching for two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man outside of a convenience store in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, police said.
The shooting took place at the intersection of Central Avenue and Washington Boulevard at about 10:25 p.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
April Beltran, the victim's wife, identified the man as Sergio Beltran, a father of three children.
April said her husband left home after they had a small argument. She was notified around 1 a.m. about Sergio's death.
The two men suspected of shooting Sergio fled the scene but police were reviewing security video at the scene.
