A naked man, suspected of being under the influence, allegedly tried to take a baby at a graduation ceremony in the San Fernando Valley Friday morning, a representative with the Los Angeles Police Department said.
A call was made at 10:20 a.m. reporting the naked man in a gymnasium on the 10500 block of Mason Avenue in Chatsworth.
It was unclear if the man was related to the child.
He was detained a short while later and was being medically treated, according to police.
The incident is under investigation.
