A 40-year-old Santa Ana man was arrested Friday in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found under a bridge in Newport Beach.
Jaime Prieto Rocho was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. Bond was set at $1 million.
The body of 28-year-old Nancy Hammour, of Santa Ana, was found Sept. 2 under the Bay Bridge, near East Coast Highway and Bayside Drive. The coroner determined that Hammour -- found facedown under the bridge -- died from a gunshot wound.
