Police drew their handguns Thursday on a pregnant woman in Sun Valley who was traveling in a vehicle mistaken for the vehicle belonging to a murder suspect.
The incident was reported around 3 p.m. near Lankershim Boulevard and San Fernando Road when police noticed a vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle belonging to a murder suspect, according to LAPD.
The driver and passenger, who was pregnant, were ordered out of the vehicle and briefly handcuffed.
LAPD detectives said they took precautions because the vehicle had tinted windows.
Police realized the vehicle did not belong to the murder suspect and released the pregnant woman.
