Police asked for the public's help to identify a man who tried to sexually assault a jogger in Huntington Beach last week.
A woman was jogging near Huntington Village Lane and Center Avenue (map) on Aug. 28 when she noticed a man was following her. She ran toward her apartment, but the man shoved her to the ground from behind and tried to sexually assault her, according to a statement from the Huntington Beach Police Department.
She managed to escape, but not before the man ripped her shirt.
