The driver of an alleged stolen vehicle led authorities on a pursuit that ended in a crash in Garden Grove Monday morning, officials said.
The chase began about 6:30 a.m. at Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue in Santa Ana after an officer spotted a stolen green Honda Accord, the Santa Ana Police Department said.
Police said the car was also involved in an assault with a deadly weapon.
The driver led police through Santa Ana and Fountain Valley before crashing at the intersection of Trask Avenue and Euclid Street, according to Santa Ana police.
The driver was arrested at the scene and was being treated for minor injuries.
The OC Sheriff's Department assisted Santa Ana Police in the pursuit.
