Security at Dodger Stadium will be beefed up on Wednesday and Thursday nights as the Dodgers play the San Francisco Giants in a two-game series, NBC LA has learned.

Extra LAPD officers will patrol the concourses and the parking lots. This marks the first time the Giants have come to Los Angeles since the season opening series. On opening day, Bryan Stow, a Giants fan, was severely beaten in the Dodger Stadium parking lot.
Bill Bratton, the former LAPD chief who was hired as a security consultant for the Dodgers in the wake of the beating, was not available to comment, according to a spokesman with Altegrity, Inc., the parent company of Kroll, where he serves as chairman.
"He's got plans tonight," Jack Papp, spokesman for Altegrity, said in a phone message, adding that Bratton was "unavailable."
The Dodgers announced at a Tuesday afternoon news conference they have added $100,000 to the fund dedicated to the capture and conviction of the people who attacked Stow. The reward fund now stands at $200,000.
Stow was transfered from County USC Medical Center to San Francisco General Hospital on Monday. Stow's family says he faces a long road to recovery. No suspects have been arrested in the incident.
