A man who sexually assaulted a mentally disabled girl was arrested Friday by the San Bernardino Police Department.
On July 8, the Sheriff's Central Station, Loma Linda Patrol responded to the address of a 17-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by San Bernardino resident Steven Haley, 32. The man fled the scene before deputies arrived.
Haley has been charged for the rape of a minor and taken to the West Valley Detention Center.
The man was aware authorities were actively searching for him but refused to turn himself in, according to the Sheriff's Central Station.
