A fire broke out just after 4 a.m. in the City of Industry, sending smoke into the air Sunday morning, the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed.
The fire was reported at 4:15 a.m. at 135 Long Lane in the City of Industry, which is across the street from Hacienda La Puente High School.
The two-alarm fire was well-involved in the early morning hours of Sunday.
At one point, 100-foot flames could be seen shooting into the sky.
A driver called in to report smelling smoke on the 60 Freeway.
