A man was taken into custody after a brief search in a neighborhood following a pursuit on the 10 Freeway in the San Gabriel Valley.
At about 6 a.m., the driver was traveling back and forth on both directions of the 10 Freeway east of downtown Los Angeles. The driver exited the freeway and ran from the sport utility vehicle in a Baldwin Park neighborhood.
The man was arrested after officers found him hiding in behind a residence.
