Detectives have identified a man who allegedly killed his deceased wife's sister and brother-in-law before killing himself at an Ontario cemetery Saturday.

According to the Ontario Police Department, Karapet Kalajian, 71, of Ontario shot the two victims at Bellevue Memorial Park at 1240 West G Street at 3 p.m., one day before the anniversary date of his wife's death.

When authorities arrived, they found a man, a woman, and the gunman shot to death. Police identified the victims as 60-year-old Misak Minasyan and 59-year old Hripsime Minasyan, both from North Hollywood. The victims were Kalajian deceased wife's sister and brother-in-law, police said.

Witnesses told police a man was sitting in his car at the cemetery when three family members in their 60s arrived. The family members, including a woman who was using a walker, went to a grave, police said.

The gunman got out of the car and quickly shot two of the family members before killing himself. The woman using the walker was not injured.

Detectives learned that Kalajian's wife was buried at the Bellevue Cemetery after she died in 2011. The anniversary date of her death is Jan. 3.

According to Ontario police, Kalajian had difficulty dealing with the death of his wife and had become estranged from the family for more than a year.
