Due to the NBA moratorium, players and teams could not officially sign contracts until July 7, though agreements had been reached as early as July 1. The Calderon confirmation was the freshest of the moves, as LA acquired the 34-year-old point guard and two future second-round draft picks from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for the draft rights to Ater Majok.
Clarkson reportedly agreed to a four-year contract worth $50 million. Deng signed for four years, as well, but his price tag was reported to be closer to $72 million. Serbian rookie Ivica Zubac reportedly received a three-year contract with two of those years guaranteed.
