CicLAvia is a non-profit that catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free streets. CicLAvia engages with people to transform our relationship with our communities and with each other.
CicLAvia has become an LA tradition, and for the past six years, CicLAvia has produced the largest “open streets” event in the country. Iconic streets and historic car corridors are closed to cars, and are open to people to explore the streets by bike, walking, and all modes of non-motorized transportation.
CicLAvia seeks individuals and volunteer groups to act as Crossing Angels to manage participant traffic at designated car crossing points and along the route. Crossing Angels play a crucial role in ensuring that participants are safely traveling on the route while still having fun. To volunteer, click here.
