The Inlandia Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to recognizing, supporting, and expanding all forms of literary activity through community programs in Inland Southern California, thereby deepening people’s awareness, understanding, and appreciation of this unique, complex and creatively vibrant region. We have five core programs: Creative Literacy, Literary Professional Development, Public Events, Publications, and Literary Laureate, which appoints a new writer to the position every two years to act as an ambassador for the literary arts throughout the region.
Inlandia Institute is in need of dedicated program volunteers to assist with the promotion and facilitation of our organization's events and projects which include author readings and book signings, children’s creative literacy programs, and civic-minded cultural conversations on relevant topics.
