Opened in 1908 as a safe refuge for unwed mothers, St. Anne’s has evolved into one of the most highly regarded social service agencies in Southern California. We focus on families, offering residential care, transitional and supportive housing, family stabilization and mental health services, early childhood education and workforce development. These programs work together to build safe, nurturing and resilient families — from pregnancy to parenthood and childhood to adulthood — for generations to come.
We are thrilled to announce the start of our Read Play Grow Program! This new program welcomes volunteers age 55 and older to work with the children and babies in our Early Learning Centers. Opportunities include spending quality time with infants, reading to preschoolers to help boost their literacy skills, and connecting with kids in imaginative play. To volunteer, click here.
