KIDS OCEAN DAY is a project of The Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education that specializes in school outreach and coastal quality issues. In partnership with the Watershed Protection Program, a program of LA Sanitation, over 680,000 California school children have participated in the KIDS OCEAN DAY Program over the last 24 years.
Bringing Los Angeles school children to the beach helps put them in touch with nature, while challenging them to recycle, reduce litter and participate in cleaning up their environment. To volunteer, click here.
