The Valley Food Bank was established in 2001 to serve the food insecure in the San Fernando Valley. Our warehouse facility is a central hub that collects, processes, and distributes surplus food at no-charge to a network of rescue centers, food pantries, and soup kitchens to provide hot nutritious meals and food baskets to the homeless and needy throughout the community.
Volunteers are needed to assist with loading and unloading refrigerated trucks, sorting donated food for re-distribution to pantry sites, help write newsletter stories and housekeeping. To volunteer, click here.
