A Year of the Tiger Celebration in Chinatown
Los Angeles’ Chinatown keeps the Chinese culture alive in California. The pagoda-style buildings and decorative red lanterns set the perfect scene for a Lunar New Year celebration. California Live’s Angela Sun talks to Dr. Yuen from the Chinese American Museum about the importance of the Lunar New Year, The Year of the Tiger and traditional dishes and their significance. Angela also talks to Wilson Gee, member of the LA Firecracker Race Committee and learns how to get involved with this year’s virtual firecracker run. For more info, please visitFirecracker10k.org
