Hollywood Returns to the Golden Globes in Glittering Night

Hollywood’s brightest returned to the Golden Globes after a year away, live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Getty Images Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh and Austin Butler were among the actors who took home top awards at the Golden Globe Awards.

The 80th annual Golden Globes returned Tuesday night, live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Host Jerrod Carmichael, who won an Emmy last year for his HBO special “Rothaniel," took on the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's controversies in his opening monologue and continued his pointed comedic observations throughout.

Eddie Murphy and Ryan Murphy received career tributes and winners included Angela Bassett, who became the first actor in a Marvel movie to win a major acting award, and Michelle Yeoh, who continued to ride high on her stunning performance in "Everything Everywhere All at Once."
