“Big Bang” Cuties Talk Science of Attraction

Science would say that wave forms exist everywhere, in sound, in the ocean, in microscopic places the naked eye cannot see. We'll also put forward that there's a certain wave-like pattern to the pronouncements that the sitcom, as an art form, is over (this would be the low point on the wave). Then suddenly, there are some solid comedies on the air, the wave rises, the sitcom is back!

"The Big Bang Theory," which has a name the inner -- oh, who are we kidding? -- the outer geek in us likes, is one of those shows that proves, scientifically, on graphs and charts, that the half-hour comedy is still trucking along. The cast is cute and funny, and that a couple of smarties are the central characters cheers us.

If you follow the show, the principals are headed for the Cinerama Dome as part of PaleyFest '09. No, you don't need to think up super-smart questions to ask, but it is also smart just to have a one or two mic-ready queries in your head before you arrive. "Big Bang" honcho Chuck Lorre is on the panel, and he is one famously quick-witted guy. Thursday, April 16th, 7PM. $45-$60 general. Cinerama Dome, ArcLight Hollywood, 6360 W. Sunset Boulevard,
