Clouds from Hurricane Elida will stream into the region tonight through Thursday. This added moisture will bring a chance for sprinkles and isolated storms over the mountains. By Friday our attention shifts to the long stretch of extreme heat that lasts through Monday. Record high temperatures are possible, like Anaheim.
