Laura’s House is a non-profit organization based in Orange County dealing with the affects of domestic and family violence. We offer a comprehensive range of services for the entire family including emergency shelter, 24 hour hotline, legal support services, counseling and community education. One of our main goals is to provide safe refuge to women and children escaping life threatening family situations. We believe that every person should have the right to feel safe in their own home.
Laura’s House Resale Store relies on volunteers to staff the store in order to keep expenses low maximizing the funds that go directly to our domestic violence programs and services. The Customer Service Volunteer is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the store including: assisting with the processing room, organizing and stocking the clothes racks, go backs from the fitting room, light cleaning and tagging of merchandise.
