Are you still finding bits of frosting here and there from the Eat My Blog Bake Sale, which happened last December?
The bloggers-baking come-together supported the LA Regional Foodbank. More than supported; all the proceeds from the day went to the Foodbank.
Now scribes who love their sweets are coming together from points across the nation on Saturday, April 17 for the National Food Bloggers Bake Sale. Two things will happen that day: Share Our Strength's mission, which is to make sure "no kid hungry," to quote its tagline, will be supported. And two, many many frosted and sugared and crumb-crusted baked goods will be sold.
We'll add a third thing as well: camaraderie. When you round up a bunch of lively, flour-dusted LA bloggers, connections will be made.
The spot is Morels at the Grove, the time is 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and you can see the who's who of baker-bloggers here. And props to What's Gaby Cooking for helming the LA outing.
