What You're Doing Today and Tonight: April 12th

EASTER GO-OUTS: You've stowed the little plastic eggs, the fake grass, the baskets, but you've still got your bonnet on. (We understand; we hardly ever want to take our Easter bonnet off.) Brunch is traditional, of course, and few restaurants around Southern California go as traditional as Five Crowns. The lavish holiday meal gets a more contemporary edge at the W Hotel (and there's an egg hunt in the middle of it all). People stuffed with chocolate can skip the big eating and snap one more pic with the jolly rabbit at The Grove's Bunny Bungalow (we personally would love that bungalow as our own house; square footage is wee, but we wouldn't complain). And because we're fans of the classic 1970s-era special "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown," we're keen to head over to A Celebration of Vince Guaraldi (the musician who gained much fame as the composer behind the Peanuts shows) at the Jazz Bakery.

ALSO ON SUNDAY, MARCH 12: The Skirball Center spotlights the Golden Age of Comic Books; Silent Movie Theatre screens "Faust" (directed by F.W. Murnau) with live musical accompaniment; and "Avenue Q" takes its final bow at Segerstrom Hall.
