THREE NIGHTS OF TRAVIS: The sounds of this fan-garnering Scottish band are expansive, very often sweeping, a tad Beatle-y from time to time. We should also mention that they are plum full of emotion and a light sort of lilt that is probably much, much harder to achieve than at first glance (or listen). And we don't use the term "fan-garnering" lightly -- or liltingly -- either. Every Travis devotee we've met, heard of, read about or come across is with the art-loving, alt-loving outfit for the long haul, which speaks to this band's beautiful music.
