A 2-year-old girl fell at least 15 feet out of an open window in Chino Hills Monday, the Chino Hills Valley Fire Department said.
The fire department said the toddler was stabilized at the home before being rushed to the Pomona Valley Medical Center.
Chino Hills Valley Fire says the child was playing in the upstairs living room of a home in the 15800 block of Carriage Hills Lane around 7:17 p.m. when she got on top of a sofa and fell through an open window, popping out the screen.
The 2-year-old tumbled two stories, between 15 and 18 feet, onto the driveway below.
The little girl remained at the the hospital Monday night. Authorities didn’t release an update on her condition.
