A man was killed Friday morning in a crash that involved several vehicles near a busy freeway interchange in the Long Beach area.
The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway near its interchange with the 710 Freeway. Details regarding the crash were not immediately available.
The victim was identified as a man in his 30s. NBC4 is attempting to confirm whether the man was walking on the freeway or the occupant of a vehicle.
Aerial video showed a white Mercedes Benz sedan with front-end damage and a shattered windshield.
The southbound 405 Freeway was closed for the crash investigation, but reopened at about 6:30 a.m.
