A 77-year-old man was found stabbed to death in an RV after an apparent attempted carjacking in the desert town of Yucca Valley, police said Wednesday.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification of his family, was found around 4 a.m. Tuesday in an RV in the 58000 block of Twentynine Palms Highway, suffering from stab wounds.
He died where he was found.
Around 9:30 a.m., investigators located a suspect, James Adam Webb in Paradise Valley, where he was arrested, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Webb was booked on suspicion of murder and is currently being held without bail.
