3.6-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Julian California After a Series of Temblors in Just 24 Hours

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake shook the Julian area near San Diego according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit at 2:36 a.m. about 8 miles northeast of Julian at a depth of 8.1 miles, the USGS reported.

The temblor follows a series of earthquakes that rattled the area in just 24 hours, following a 4.0 magnitude quake and a magnitude 3.8.
