A brush fire was burning Tuesday in Angeles National Forest on a day of extreme heat in Southern California.
Mount Baldy Road and the Claremont Wilderness Park were closed due to the Antonio Fire, which spread to brush after a car fire. It quickly grew to about 50 acres.
There were no reports of injuries or damage. No structures were threatened, according to the county fire department.
