Three people were injured, including two critically, after a car collided with a school bus in Watts on Thursday, officials said.
The collision occurred near the 1500 block of 103rd Street around 7:22 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person was trapped in the car and had to be extricated by rescue crews. A second person in the car was also injured, and both were transported to a hospital in critical condition, LAFD said.
One person aboard the school bus suffered minor injuries and was in fair condition. Officials initially said the patient was taken to a hospital but later said no one aboard the bus had been transported.
