A man, in his mid 20s, was shot to death Saturday in Pico Rivera.
The shooting happened at 7:15 a.m. in the area of Rosemead Boulevard and Gallatin Road, according to Deputy Guillermina Saldana of the sheriff's Information Bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Saldana said.
Detectives initially thought the man's death was a suicide, but evidence found at the scene makes the death suspicious.
The sheriff's Homicide Bureau asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting death to call them at (323) 890-5500.
