One person was killed early Monday in a crash on the southbound 71 Freeway in Chino Hills.
A mulitple vehicle crash was reported just before 3 a.m. on the southbound 71 Freeway, just north of Chino Avenue, CHP said. Officials confirmed that at least one person died at the scene and several others were injured.
Some lanes were closed for the crash investigation at Chino Avenue, the California Highway Patrol said.
