A magnitude-3.7 earthquake in the Malibu area Friday night caused shaking in parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Widely felt shaking was reported just before midnight in Malibu, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, South Bay communities, Long Beach, the San Fernando Valley and other parts of Los Angeles.
A second quake in the Malibu area was reported early Saturday morning. The magnitude-3.5 quake happened at about 6:30 a.m.
Shaking was reported in Malibu, along the LA County coast, South Bay communities and elsewhere.

No injuries or major damage has been reported.
"Rest assured that our deputies are conducting critical facilities checks throughout the region to ensure the safety of our communities,'' the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lost Hills Station noted on social media Saturday following the late Friday quake. "We have not received any reports of any injuries or structural damage at this time but will continue to monitor the situation."
The earthquakes were two of three greater than magnitude-3.0 in Southern California Friday and Saturday, when a magnitude-3.5 earthquake was reported in the Riverside County community of Idyllwild.
The Malibu area also has seen mud and debris flow from heavy rainfall this week and continues to recover from January's wildfires.
