The driver of a propane service truck suffered burns Tuesday in an explosion at an industrial site east of downtown Los Angeles
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the 1700 block of Perrino Place at about mid-day after a report of an explosion and fire. Aerial video showed one person transported from the scene in an ambulance.
Authorities determined that the 40-year-old victim was injured as he was filling a propane tank. The man suffered critical burn injuries, according to authorities.
