A 15-year-old girl who cannot hear or speak was found safe after being reported missing early Saturday morning, police said.
Yesika Yadira Diaz-Gonzalez was at a relative's home in Pomona, Ontario Police Department officials said Saturday night.
"The missing juvenile was found to be in good health and re-united with the original reporting party," police said in a news release.
Criminal charges were not expected, police said.
Diaz-Gonzalez was last seen at her home in the 500 block of North Campus Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. when she went to her room, police said.
Her family noticed she was missing at about 5 a.m., and it appeared that she took a bag of clothing with her, police said.
