Gunmen Break Into Burbank Home in Robbery

No one was injured in the incident reported at 4 p.m. in Burbank

Two men claiming to have a mail delivery made their way into a Burbank home Saturday and forced a housekeeper into a bathroom before stealing property and cash, police said.

The men, who appeared to be in their late 20s, knocked on the front door of the home in the 1300 block of Paseo Redondo about 4:15 p.m., said Burbank police Officer Joshua Kendrick.

"Once the door was opened by the female victim the suspects forced their way inside the residence," he said. "One male was wearing a ski mask and was possible armed with a handgun."

They fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money and property, Kendrick said.

Anyone with information about the crime was urged to contact the Burbank police detective handling the case at (818) 238-3264.
